This weekend, I have been invited to a variety of events around Los Angeles, the first I chose to attend was the 2022 Pirate Invasion at the park near the Queen Mary downtown Long Beach. The Pirates last invaded Long Beach in 2019 right before Covid hit. I was there then as well and what a fun time we had.
The 2022 invasion celebrated the return of the pirates to Long Beach and what an event that turned out to be, a time for old comrades to reminisce about the good old days of plundering and looting, not to mention drinking and carousing.
