Organizational Experience
Freelance Change Management Project Consultant, with GGeorge Consulting, Long Beach, CA since February 2008.
Worked on a variety of projects as a Change Management Specialist and Project Support Specialist. Performing miscellaneous training and administrative functions in health care, legal services, Workforce Development and Economic Development and the non-profit industry.
Collaborating with HR managers and training specialists on training design projects to create, refine and deliver training modules for specific HR or Organizational Development training and crafting upgrades to projects. Experimenting with and implementing new department workflow processes.
Working independently and with individuals and on coaching projects on leadership coaching and development projects. Analyzing and creating reports based on field observations and questionnaires incorporating quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods. Assisting with business marketing and outreach.
Conflict Resolution
Working at the Los Angeles County Bar Association, enhanced my journey in the world of conflict resolution. Conflict is all around us and we are constantly engaged in managing day to day conflict.
At the Bar Association, I was tasked with responsibility for the Dispute Resolution and Mediation Training program. This meant being responsible for every aspect of the program from scheduling the programs for the year, developing the training and training manuals to budgeting for and marketing the programs, and of coures trainer and facility contracting and all logistics associated with each class. With 6 ro 8 programs a year at various locations across Los Angeles County, this became a huge undertaking. I totally enjoyed it!
In posession of a bachelor’s degree in Sociology and Marketing and a Master’s Degree in Behavioral Science with a concentration in Dispute Resolution, I was totally equipped to handle this position.
